OUTBURST To Enter Studio Before End Of Year

August 3, 2007

Dutch thrashers OUTBURST have issued the following update:

"We added a couple more shows for the fall and these will be among the last ones we will play for the 'Fair and Balanced' album. The writing process for the new album is coming along nicely and by the end of September we will start making demo recordings of 13-14 songs and the actual studio recording will take place at the end of the year. Expect some really brutal stuff! Speaking of brutal, next week we will play the Brutal Assault Festival in Czech Republic, hell fucking yeah! We're super-excited to play in front of a lot of crazy Czechs. And let us not forget that we will play a megacool show as a 'warm-up.' This Sunday, come thrash with us and SEPULTURA in Utrecht at the Tivoli venue. There are still some tickets left at the door. Hope to see you bang your head in front of the stage!"

OUTBURST — which is said to be musically similar to such acts as SHADOWS FALL, THE HAUNTED, TESTAMENT, CARCASS and EXODUS — released its debut album, "Fair and Balanced", on August 28, 2006 in Benelux and Germany via Overfiend Records.

"Fair and Balanced" was recorded at Double Noise studio in Tilburg, Holland with producer Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES, HIDING WITH GIRL). The CD features two guest appearances: TEXTURES vocalist Eric Kalsbeek can be heard on "Attack of the Overfiend" and CEPHALIC CARNAGE frontman Leonard Leal unleashed his grunts on "What the Eyes See".
